City of Bridgeport Announces Newfield Boat Ramp Closed Until Further Notice Due to Safety Concerns
City of Bridgeport advises residents that the Newfield boat ramp located at 421 Seaview Avenue will be temporarily closed during the summer until further notice for safety concerns.

In April, Mayor Ganim and the Bridgeport Department of Public Facilities made announcements regarding upcoming opening dates for the City’s parks. Mayor Ganim is reminding all residents that checkpoints will reopen early, on weekends only, starting on May 6th from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for residents to purchase park stickers in advance of Memorial Day weekend.
