Prior to the demolition of a building, a rodent free inspection must be completed by the Bridgeport Health Department.

Rodent Free Inspection Process

Provide Required Information

Provide the site address of property to be inspected.

Provide the name, telephone number and email address of the person making the request.

Pay Inspection Fee

Check the Fee and Licensing Schedule for current inspection fees.

The fee must be paid in the form of a cashier check or money order payable to the Bridgeport Health Department.

Inspection and Certification

There will be an inspection to determine that the site is Rodent Free.

The Rodent Free Certificate is valid for a period of 30 days from the issued date.
