Summer Youth Employment Program places youth ages 14 through 21 in jobs, working four (4) hours a day. Youth are trained in areas related to job readiness skills, working with younger children, life skills, conflict resolution, and team building strategies. The training is offered by area professionals and provide youth with an overview of employment expectations. To apply for the Summer Youth Employment Program, please fill out the application below. You MUST include the following documents in your application:

• • Copy of Most Recent Report Card (grades and teacher comments are very important to selection process)
  • Copy of Proof of Residency (a piece of mail or a school document (such as your report card addressed to
    you at your home)
  • Copy of Social Security Card
  • Copy of Photo ID (either High School ID, motor vehicle ID or Bridgeport Resident ID)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate (with City Seal OR Passport)
