The City of Bridgeport is excited to announce the beginning of our annual Crack & Seal Street Maintenance Program. This program is a vital part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of our streets and ensuring the safety and convenience of our community.

During this period, our dedicated team of professionals will be working diligently to repair and maintain our streets. The main objective of the Crack and Seal program is to extend the life of our roadways and provide a smoother driving surface.

What to Expect:

1. Crack Sealing: This involves filling cracks in the road's surface to prevent water from seeping into the pavement and causing further damage. 
2. Surface Sealing: Once the cracks have been sealed, a sealant will be applied to the road surface to protect and enhance its longevity. 
3. Temporary Street "No Parking" or "Detour": Some streets will experience temporary no parking or traffic delays during the maintenance process. We kindly request your patience and cooperation during this time.

For the safety of our residents and workers, please be cautious while traveling through areas where maintenance is in progress. Follow all posted signs and adhere to any detours or traffic management instructions.
