Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Ganim announces that the Connecticut E-bike rebate program has launched! To support the deployment of electric bikes (e-bikes) in CT, DEEP is providing rebates for e-bikes up to $500 (Voucher) and providing an additional $1000 rebate (Voucher+) if you live in an environmental justice community, are enrolled in public assistance programs, OR have an income 300% below the Federal Poverty level.  This means Bridgeport residents are entitled to a voucher/rebate up to $1500 towards the purchase of a NEW e-bike

Important to know:

  • You MUST apply and get approved before purchasing your e-bike
  • All Bridgeport residents over 18 are eligible to apply
  • Your e-bike must be on the approved e-bike list and have a MSRP lower than $3,000
  • Vouchers MUST be used within 90 days and at a participating e-bike retailer location
