The Bridgeport Connecticut Firefighter’s Union Local 834, in partnership with the Bridgeport Hospital Foundation, proudly announces that we are sponsoring a fundraiser to take place on March 23, 2013, at 7:00 pm at Vazzano’s Four Seasons at a cost of $75.00 per person. The proceeds of this event will help contribute to new renovation of the Connecticut Burn Center. The updating of the critical care rooms, therapy room, nursing station as well as construction of a new family suite are currently finished!
The Connecticut Burn Center is one of 54 treatment facilities in the United States verified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Burn Association. The Center was originally founded in 1973 by the late Andrew J. Panettieri, M.D. Throughout its existence, generous donations have been the main source of funding for equipment,
staff education and upgrades to the Center.
On behalf of the Bridgeport Firefighter’s Union Local 834, we ask if you would be so kind to find a way to donate to the Connecticut Burn Center so that it can continue to provide and improve the care of burn victims and their families. Your donation may be monetary or an item that can be used for an auction that will be held at the fundraiser on March 23rd. The Bridgeport Hospital Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization. A letter for income tax purposes can be provided at your request.
