Chowdafest V

Chowdafest is a competition featuring 30 different chowders and soups, where both children and adults get to be judges and vote for their favorite classic New England clam chowder, creative chowder (anything other than New England), and soup/bisque. Everyone gets a spoon pencil and ballot, samples each soup and chowder.

What: Chowders, soups and bisques prepared by 24 area restaurants.
Tickets: At the box office. Adults $10; children 5 to 12, $5; children under 5, free.
Parking: $5.
Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit the Connecticut Food Bank.
