A message from Superintendent of Schools Paul G. Vallas:
Good Afternoon,
I am writing to inform you that in light of the tragedy in Newtown, all after-school activities including Lighthouse and any athletic events will be cancelled.
The only exception to this is the Central High School basketball game against Stamford High School, which will be occurring as scheduled tonight pending confirmation from Stamford High School.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those impacted and thank you for your consideration and flexibility in this matter.
