Bridgeport, CT – Today, Mayor Ganim released a statement following the announcement that Waterbury Mayor Neil O’Leary will not be running for re-election. 

“Mayor O’Leary has dedicated his life to the City of Waterbury as a police officer and Mayor for over 40 years. Under his guidance and leadership, he has made a tremendous impact to improving the city. The City of Bridgeport and I wish you the best of luck on this next chapter in your life; I am grateful to have worked alongside you during very pivotal moments in the State of Connecticut.”
