Bridgeport, CT ā€“ Beginning on March 15th, Bond Street at the intersection of Boston Ave will permanently close and will have new access off the new boulevard road. Bond Street will be open to residents that currently live on the street but will only be granted one-way access to navigate the road. Traffic controls and construction will be in place to regulate accessibility to Bond Street.

Mayor Ganim stated, ā€œIā€™m excited to see this road improvement project finally come to fruition after years of public meetings and discussions. I believe that this will allow for a smoother flow of traffic in that area, especially in a space that contains a school as large as Harding High School.ā€
