Bridgeport, CT– Today, Mayor Ganim visited the construction site of the $25 million Downtown development that will house nearly 100 units of market rate rental housing. This will include 8,000 square feet of street level retail space facing Main Street and underground parking for tenants.

Bridgeport based developer, Primrose Construction, was selected in September of 2018 by Mayor Ganim’s administration to develop the property. Workers are currently finishing the site's vertical construction after the parking garage was completed. The developer has been successful in keeping the surrounding downtown area clean and compliant with rules throughout the duration of the project. The completion of their work is planned for June 2023.

Mayor Ganim stated “There’s great plans for this area. After the Pandemic this project came to a standstill, we want the progress to move the city forward, and we want to move forward in a way the that will benefit our residents,”
