City of Bridgeport, Blue Wave Pool Service and Supplies to Host Free Training Course for Pool Operator Certification
Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport Department of Health and Social Services has partnered with Blue Wave Pool Service and Supplies to offer CPO® Certification training to pool operators, health officials, and pool maintenance staff in Bridgeport and the surrounding area.
Through funding provided by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, training topics will include: Connecticut State Health Code, Virginia Graeme Baker (VGB) Act Compliance, Pool Water Chemistry, and Pool Care Technique. This opportunity will give participants a better understanding of the operator’s role in pool care, management and risk reduction.
