Bridgeport Fire Department To Swear-In New Fire Recruits
Presentation of Colors by the Honor Guard and Connecticut Pipes & Drums
Bridgeport, CT- The Bridgeport Fire Department will hold a swearing-in and promotional ceremony today, June 13, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the Common Council Chambers, 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT 06604. The ceremony will include the Presentation of Colors by the Bridgeport Fire Department Honor Guard, and Connecticut Firefighters Pipes & Drums. Mayor Ganim will make remarks and administer the oath.
The Bridgeport Fire Department ceremony will include a promotional ceremony for new Assistant Chief Armando Cora, as well as the swearing in of the newest Captains, Lieutenants, Pumper Engineer, Fire Inspectors, and Class #62 and #63 recruits.
