Winter Storm Forecasted to Bring Approximately Two Inches of Snow to Bridgeport

Bridgeport, CT- The Office of Emergency Management is monitoring a winter storm scheduled to hit Connecticut tomorrow. The National Weather Service and CT Weather report the following timing and changeovers of the snow, sleet and rain weather mix:

Snow will develop between 1 PM and 3 PM tomorrow afternoon and become moderate at times by between 3 PM and 5 PM. A transition to sleet will begin between 8 PM and 10 PM tomorrow evening, then briefly to freezing rain tomorrow night between 10 PM and MIDNIGHT. Precipitation will become all rain between MIDNIGHT and 1 AM tomorrow night. Rain will end between 3AM and 5 AM Thursday. The peak of the storm will continue from 4:00pm to 11:00pm.

The CT Weather reports are with high confidence. Bridgeport can expect anywhere from 1.5 to 2.4 inches of snow.
