Bridgeport, Conn. (August 24, 2015) -- Today, Mayor Bill Finch announced that Chipotle Mexican Grill -- which is slated to open a new store at Bridgeport's Steelpointe Harbor later this year – will be hosting a job fair this week.
Chipotle Mexican Grill – which has over 800 locations nationwide and was named by health.com as one of the healthiest restaurants in America – will be holding a job fair on Thursday, August 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bridgeport’s Margaret E. Morton Government Center (999 Broad Street, Bridgeport, Conn.).

Chipotle has also hosted information sessions in Bridgeport over the last two weeks. Nearly 100 people attended these sessions.
Last week, nearly 2,500 people attended a three-day job fair hosted by Bass Pro Shops in Bridgeport. Bass Pro Shops – which has nearly 90 locations nationwide and is listed on the Forbes.com list of best employers in America – will soon be opening a new location at Bridgeport’s Steelpointe Harbor.
Between the stores and restaurants that are slated to open at Bridgeport’s Steelpointe Harbor in 2015 – Bass Pro Shops, Chipotle, Starbucks, and T-Mobile – one thousand jobs are being created.
“I encourage residents looking for good paying jobs to attend these job fairs,” said Mayor Finch. “My administration has worked very hard to make Steelpointe a reality and to bring these jobs to Bridgeport.”
