5/31/2015 - STATEMENT: Mayor Finch on DOT approving $3.8 million for Ash Creek Pedestrian Bridge, providing greater access for Bridgeporters to the Fairfield Metro train station

Bridgeport, Conn. (May 31, 2015)Background: Today, Gov. Malloy and state leaders announced that the state Department of Transportation has approved $3.8 million in funding to build a new pedestrian bridge over Ash Creek, providing greater access for Bridgeporters to the Fairfield Metro train station (click here for more info: http://bit.ly/1LVJIyi). In response, Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch made the following statement:
