Pequonnock River Initiative. (PRI)
This initiative was formed in partnership between the City of Bridgeport and the towns of Monroe and Trumbull in 2010 with the goal of creating a watershed plan for the Pequonnock River. Previously, land use and development around the river had not been addressed with a sustainable approach which had led to declines in water quality.
