• Marriage license applications are accepted by appointment only.
• The $ 50.00 application fee is due at the time of the appointment.

• The marriage license must be obtained in the town and or city where the ceremony takes place.
• Attach a copy of your photo ID and your fiancé’s photo ID.
• Must be 18 years old and older to obtain a marriage license.
• For legal name changes after marriage contact the SSA (Social Security Administration).
• Appointments are scheduled by email or telephone.
• We encourage everyone to submit online although our Bridgeport residents only will continue to be allowed same day service to apply for a marriage license.

The next available appointment and our office scheduling hours will be provided once the completed application and photo ID from each person is received.
