Our mission
The mission of the Department on Aging is to ensure that all Bridgeport Seniors will be able to reach their full potential by providing opportunities for socialization, elderly education, information and referrals and other supportive services. To increase awareness of nutrition, health and wellness, transportation, fitness, preparedness, social services, recreation and leisure activities that promotes an appropriate level of independence available to Bridgeport’s active senior population.

Hispanic Elderly: Services necessary to assure the health, safety and welfare of elderly people, as well as services that assist the elderly or aging persons to improve their quality of life. Services include social services, information, referral and case management.
Senior Transportation:
Senior transportation will be provided to and from the center. Please indicate if transportation will be needed when you are registering to become a member. Transportation will only be provided within the City of Bridgeport.
