Operations and Safety

The Bridgeport-Sikorsky Airport Operations and Safety Department works to ensure compliance with FAR Part 139 requirements throughout the airport. Airport Personnel are responsible for conducting safety inspections, provide airport security, customer service, institute safety programs and respond to aircraft emergency events as ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting).
