All fees are payable on site with cash, money order made payable to Bridgeport Vital Records or credit/debit cards. We accept Discover, Visa and Mastercard only. There is an additional fee of $2 payable to the service company at the time of the credit card charge. We do not accept personal checks.

The office of Vital Statistics shall charge an established fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the preparation and notarization of each affidavit it produces at the request of the public. (Ordinance 2.110.150)

The office of Vital Statistics shall charge an established fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) for any search, including a certified copy thereof, if one is found, that it conducts upon request of the public. If no record is found the fee will be refunded.
